BOB BOSSMAN
Bob Bossman is the Executive Director of ISA & Co-Founder.
For over 10 years Bob Bossman has been emerging as a trailblazer in the Sports Academy world. His sought after approach in developing and growing wildly successful basketball programs all over the US has caught the attention of the international basketball community with new and emerging partnerships in China, India, Russia, Spain, Dubai, Singapore and more.
Over the past decade, Bossman served as the Executive Director of Academy at SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio – an official US Olympic Training Facility. His vision of bringing a basketball program to the facility opened doors to partnerships with NCAA, NAIA and the US Olympic Committee.
Bossman used his academy business model to build SPIRE’s first-ever basketball program in 2012 and began attracting and recruiting high-level athletes that would make SPIRE a national title contender. His years at the helm of the basketball program paved the way for student-athletes from around the world to study and train at an official Olympic Training Facility. Before esigning to start his own franchise in 2018, Bossman had placed over 100 student-athletes into college basketball programs.
Prior to SPIRE, Bossman was already eceiving accolades and attention from the academy world after playing and coaching on every level. In 2011 Bossman created La Jolla Prep in California where he sent 10 players to Division 1 programs in one year. He also served as head coach at Westwind Prep in Phoenix, AZ where he earned two invitations to the Prep SchoolNational Championships. Prior to coaching at Westwind, Bob served as the graduate assistant at Cleveland State University and Clarion University. He also coached at Mercyhurst Prep in Erie, PA while completing his Bachelor’s degree.
In 2016 Bob Bossman co-founded United Sports Advisor, a full-service consulting firm providing solutions for all student-athlete needs. United Sports Advisor (USA) focuses on Bossman’s passion for placing student-athletes into high schools, academies, and colleges all over the United States. USA has evolved quickly into a sports and education firm now offering camps, clinics, academy growth, seminars, tours and much more. Clients in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East have summoned the power of USA’s connections in the sports world and in return have received unprecedented levels of service from Bossman and his partners.
USA’s partnership with Andrews Osborne Academy to launch the International Sports Academy (ISA) at the elite international boarding school in Fall 2018 is setting the standard for sports academies across the country. This is Bossman’s fourth Sports Academy he has built from the ground up and looks to be the best yet.
